These are some of our small journals.  These are approximately 11cm by 15 cm, have 12 sheets (24 pages).

The cover is made of thick kraft paper and the pages are made from recycled paper.  Some of the decorations are scrap paper (that are about to be thrown away) given by a friend.

Hi guys! I know this might be a bit late but anyway, a big THANK YOU to all those that dropped by at MAAD last Dec 5-6. It was really interesting to chat with you. And of course, thanks for the feedback. We will take into account all of it. A big thanks also to those that bought our products, almost all of it were sold :)  Hope you liked the bookmarks :)  In case I forgot to mention it, those are made from used phone/call cards.

As promised, I'll be uploading some of our products here. Feel free to browse and if you find something that you fancy, please do drop a mail to me to arrange for payment/delivery.

A lot of people are asking if we do customization and if we accept bulk orders. Yes, we do.  Please email me so we can discuss.

We'll be back on MAAD on Jan 2-3, 2010. I'll remind you a few days before so you won't forget :) We'll have new designs by then, I'll keep you posted.

Finally, an update :)

It has been too long since we last updated this blog. So many things have happened and so many products have been introduced.

For one, we have introduced journals. We have seen a lot of nice journals but is too expensive for us. The solution: make one that is affordable and not hurt the environment :)

We will be back at MAAD this 5th and 6th of December 2009, we'll be at the red area. Do drop by to see some of our new stuff.

Have a happy day,
Ruby

Handcrafted Recycled Goodies

Why recycle paper? Well it's the most obvious choice. We had lots of them in our home: old newspapers, telephone directories, empty cereal boxes and cans...in other words, trash! Well, the sort of trash that doesn't smell anyway. And besides, we're doing our bit for the environment. Ever since we could remember we've always been looking for ways to re-use items that are to be thrown away. For us, every item has design potential specially if the material is quite good in terms of texture and durability. You can imagine how our work area looks like! But we like it! It's invigorating, flexing your creative muscles to good use. It also gives you some feeling of accomplishment in the sense that we've created something that can be useful again!

Craft Boxes
Most of the items used here are recycled stuff, of course. Choice cut-outs from newspapers were used as collage on the cover and side of the box. Here are some of the boxes we made in this manner:

Handcrafted Picture Frames
These picture frames are all hand-made. From the cutting of the frame pieces to assembly and embellishment. We've had several designs and can either a 3R or 4R picture. One of the good features of our frames is the ease on how you insert your photos! We've designed it in such a way that slipping your treasured photo is a breeze. Here are some of the designs:
